The 12-meter human large intestine is divided into two parts. The first half of the colon is popularly known as the intestine. In the second half represents the rectum and the anal canal below. The latter ends in the anal opening, which helps displace the secretions from the large intestine to outside the body. Colonoscopy with endoscope is used to diagnose colon-rectal cancer to. The line of treatment is surgery followed by chemotherapy.
